Do you need new two-way radio batteries?

How To: Check the Age of your Two-Way Radio Batteries
- Look for the 3 digit date code on the front of your Motorola battery
- The 1st number stands for the year the battery was manufactured. So a 1 indicates that the battery was made in 2001.
- The 2nd and 3rd numbers combined stand for the week of the year the battery was manufactured. So a 42 means the battery was made in the 42nd week of 2001
If that date is more than 2 years old, you should replace the battery.
Batteries Typically Last About 2 Years.
